How To Make An Iced Latte

Iced lattes are beautiful, delicious, and much easier to make than you realise.

Plus, they're great to drink all year round. Find out how to brew your own iced latte to perfection every time below.

We've used Wanderer beans for this guide. For best results, use them as well.

1. Start with ice.

Three-quarters fill your glass or mug of choice with ice. If you're recording this all for social — like a Reel or a TikTok — use some weird and wacky ice cubes. The statement large cube like for whisky or complete spheres are good places to start but some really odd ones like in star patterns will look great on camera too.

2. Froth and pour your milk.

Whatever your choice of milk — cow, oat, almond, coconut, macadamia, and more — froth it to heat and a good texture and then pour it over your ice. Let it pool and rest and then proceed to step three.

3. Add your coffee.

Either a single shot or a double shot, depending on your preferred strength. We recommend a double for the extra drive but it's up to you. Make sure to extract from your espresso machine correctly for the perfectly reliable coffee every time.

4. Let it marble.

The marbling texture of the coffee mixing with the ice is so gorgeous it should be a hung in a gallery on a loop. Instead, just enjoy the moment as your iced latte mixes.

5. Then stir.

Stir with a metal straw or a teaspoon. If your ice is sticking and the stir isn't smooth, simply swirl your glass or mug in a circle in the air so your espresso mixes well with your milk.

6. Enjoy.

The easiest part.
